Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

The short version: there are no accounts and I never learn who you are. The game sends anonymous statistics about how it is played, and it can show you an ad — but only when you ask for one, by tapping "watch ad, continue" after a run ends.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Flour Co. mobile game ("the app"), published by İnanç Akduvan ("I", "me"). It explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

Information I collect

The app has no sign-up, no login, and no user profile. I never learn your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location, and I have no way to connect a game to a person.

What I do receive is anonymous gameplay statistics, so I can see which parts of the game work and which frustrate people: things like how far a run got, what you built, whether a weekly goal was met, and when a run ended. Alongside each event, the analytics service records technical context — device model, operating system, app version, language, and an approximate location (city level at most) derived from your IP address — plus a random identifier stored on your device that lets separate events be recognised as one play session. That identifier is not linked to you and is discarded when you delete the app.

What the app stores on your device

Flour Co. saves a small amount of data locally so the game works between sessions. This data never leaves your device, is not readable by me, and is not backed up to any service I control:

Deleting the app removes this data permanently.

Advertising

When a run ends, the game offers you one chance to watch a video ad and carry on from where you left off. That offer is the only advertising in Flour Co.: there are no banners, no ads between screens, and nothing plays unless you tap the button. Ignore it and the app never contacts an ad network at all during your run.

The ads are served by Google AdMob. To pick and measure an ad, Google receives technical data such as your device type, IP address, and whether the ad was watched to the end. Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy & Terms, not by this policy.

The app does not ask to track you across other apps and websites. It never presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, which means Google does not receive your device's advertising identifier and cannot use Flour Co. to build a cross-app profile of you.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, the app shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and your choice there decides whether ads can be personalised. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from PRIVACY OPTIONS on the game's title screen.

Third-party services I use

There is no social media integration and no third-party sign-in. I do not sell your data, and I have no interest in doing so.

Permissions

The app plays sound effects and music, which requires audio playback access on your device. Flour Co. never records audio and never accesses your microphone. If your Android device lists a microphone permission for the app, it comes from the audio playback library the game is built with; the game contains no recording code and requests no recording access.

Children's privacy

Flour Co. has no chat, no in-app purchases, and no external links inside gameplay. It does contain the optional video ad described above, which is served by Google and is not something I choose the content of. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app is not directed at them. If you believe a child's personal information has reached me, write to the address below and I will delete it.

Information Apple or Google may collect

If you download the app from the App Store or Google Play, the store operator may collect information about that download — such as purchase records, device type, or crash reports you choose to share with them. That collection is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy, not by this one. If a store shares aggregated statistics with me, they contain no information that identifies you.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over your personal data — to access it, correct it, delete it, or object to its processing. The data I hold is anonymous gameplay statistics that are not tied to your identity, so there is usually nothing for me to look up under your name. What you can do:

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, I will update this page and change the "last updated" date above. If a future version ever collects anything, it will be described here clearly and in plain language before it ships.
